The Elf on the Shelf

I've seen a lot of buzz around #elfontheshelf so I did a little research. Elf on the Shelf is Santa's little helper that sits on your shelf and watches if your kids have been naughty or nice. Then, the elf reports back to Santa. Here is a fun commercial video I found:
