Choclate Chip + Cheese Cookies

It's snowing out here in Colorado. What better day to make cookies! This cookie recipe is easy to make and yummy to try along the way (if you know what I mean).

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
10 tbsp butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
3 oz cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
12 oz of chocolate chips

Your basic cookie recipe.

1. Set your oven to 375 degrees F
2. Mix together dry ingredients- flour, salt, baking soda in a bowl and set aside
3. Blend your butter, sugar, egg, cream cheese, and vanilla (I love my hand blender- you can get one at Walmart for like $7)
5. Add in your dry ingredients (I usually add in one cup at a time for better consistency and you will make less of a mess)
6. Stir in (do not use mixer) chocolate chips
7. Use a tablespoon and scoop out dough to place on non stick cookie sheet8. Bake 10-12 minutes- I know this sounds simple, because it is, but if you want your cookies gooey, take them out earlier. If you leave them on the baking sheet to cool off, they still bake a little more so take them out a little earlier.

Enjoy!
