Good morning!
Today I have an outfit post for you. Because it was cold and rainy outside, I wanted to wear something warm and comfy!
Say hello to Downtown Denver in the background!
Are jean jackets still in? I think so, as long as you can pair it with a colored pant like red, blue, khaki, etc. I am wearing a sweater vest underneath the jacket and my cheap corduroy red pants from Forever21.
What do you think? Do you have a photo of you wearing something casual? link it in a comment!

Bridal Shower Outfit Inspiration #2
You may have already seen my last Bridal Shower Outfit Inspiration #1 from my Polyvore collections, but if you haven't let me bring you to speed: This month I'm going to my sister's Bridal Shower in New York and I'm trying to decide what to wear! Help me out and let me know which outfit you think looks best for a NYC party and I will let you know which outfit I pick!
Here is outfit inspiration #2:
Why I like this look:
Here is outfit inspiration #2:
Why I like this look:
- I'm in love with long dresses (if I were taller and skinner, they would probably be the only thing I wear)
- Because there are no straps, I though this dress would look nice with a big chunky necklace
- I've heard the new style is color blocking
- In case it gets chilly, I've picked a random colored blazer (like I said, I don't like to match on most occasions, but I love this color jacket)
- Why do I always pick yellow shoes???? In any case, I love these yellow flats to match the yellow stripe in the middle of the dress

Bridal Shower Outfit Inspiration Set #1
My sister's Bridal Shower & Bachelorette Party is coming up next month in NYC and I can't decide what to wear!! To help me, I am making outfit choices on Polyvore hopefully to get some inspiration rolling around! So here is my first inspiration set. I must say... I am kinda already liking it and I'll tell you why.
- The dress pattern is very vintage looking and the belt hits at the right spot
- Why not add some yellow shoes to this mix? I love not matching!
- I love the side bun, but hopefully my hair will be long enough next month to do that, otherwise here I come bobbypins!
- Well.. we know I LOVE cardigans, but this cardigan screamed Jillian. It may not seem like it goes with the dress, but I feel like it would look quite cute to layer if it gets a bit breezy. The collar is very vintage looking too.
- The earrings are just cute. Who doesn't love bows?
Any suggestions or thoughts?
Just wait until end of March to see which outfit I choose!

How To: Make Your Regular Scarf Into an Infinity Scarf
Hello! When I was obsessed with having to have an infinity scarf, I went to the store and bought one. I didn't realize though, that you can make ANY scarf into an infinity scarf and here's how I did it (lots of pictures, sorry- I went kinda crazy!):

Flower Painted Canvas Shoes
So tomorrow is the day that applications open for Firefly Handmade Craft Fair in Boulder, CO. Although around 200 artists apply, only around 60 get in (someone told me). I am really hoping that I can get in because I've heard that this is great place to sell your art. I'm not sure if anyone will be selling what I'm selling, but I'm hoping for the best and rooting for myself!
Here are some flower painted shoes... Essentially, I'm experimenting with different designs on inexpensive shoes and then when I've picked the various designs, I will then transfer them to better shoes like TOMS. Hey, at least I'd be also doing good for the world :) Any feedback is great! Thanks!

Lookbook Magazine I made for THREAD Handmade Boutique
This is an exciting time for THREAD Handmade in Downtown Denver! As I'm building their online presence (site and store) I decided to make their first Lookbook. This was taken by our not expensive digital cameras. There was actually ZERO photo editing made to these pictures, which I am very surprised and delighted!
THREAD Handmade's 2012 Winter Lookbook! Hope to bring you more!

Aztec-inspired Lookbook
After painting my "aztec-like" shoes a few days ago, I was inspired to look at more Aztec inspired fashion. I was looking for bright colors, different patterns and I think I found a good selection at Polyvore (I'm totally addicted!)

Outfit #1
I could promise you I will post an outfit every day, but I know that just won't happen! Not everyday do I look cute or put thought into my look. But, I got up enough courage at work to ask someone to take a photo of me. Not the best one, but you get the idea.
The reason why I wanted to post this one is because of the mixture between patterns with the knitted cardigan and chiffon-ish dress. I liked it because it looks unusual.

Sunday Night LookBook Chic Outerwear
Pin It
Welcome back to another one of my Sunday Night Lookbook posts.
This week I wanted to focus on my love for sweaters and outerwear with
some chic finds. I can't even tell you how many sweaters I own now!
They are so comfortable yet so trendy! I hope you enjoy!
By the way, most of these items are really affordable.
(self-control please!)
